Last night, I had the esteemed pleasure of attending the premiere of the Dunamis Woman TV Network, founded by Dr. Dunamis Dee, who also serves as host, alongside co-founder and executive producer Ariel Fuller.
The premiere was held at the ModEx facility in Buckhead, where we watched the stories unfold on a 60-foot curved wall display. The room was set for an experience, with cameras, audience seating, and a purple-and-gold backdrop introducing the women behind the network.

While the network will feature several original programs, its lead show, House of Healing, chronicles the lives of 10 women as they confront the trauma of their past during a weekend stay led by Dr. Dunamis Dee.
“What is the block?”
The journey began with a question: “What is the block?”
From there, so much was unpacked. What caught my attention first was the look of expectation on the women’s faces, and how that expectation gave way to discovery. You could see the aha moments. Those moments when something clicked, when they began to see themselves and their stories differently.
Throughout the evening, several women from the show shared more about their experiences and how that weekend at the House of Healing changed their lives. Hearing directly from them added another layer to what we had just watched. Their transformation was beyond amazing.

What stayed with me most
But what stayed with me most wasn’t just the transformation on the screen. It was watching the women around me recognize themselves in the stories being told.
Some saw similarities to their own past traumas. Others seemed to find an opening, a place to begin acknowledging their own experiences and considering what healing could look like for them. They weren’t simply watching someone else’s journey. They were connecting with it and realizing they were not alone.
There’s something about being vulnerable that opens the door to healing. Last night, that opening didn’t seem confined to the screen.
I’m not going to tell these women’s stories. Those are theirs to tell, and you’ll have to watch to hear them. But know this: House of Healing is a show you’ll want to see.
I left with one thought from Dr. Dee that keeps resonating:
“If you don’t teach people who you are, they’ll keep telling you who you are.”
